76 Degree Melt point Coconut Oil changes when the temperature does. It will be a liquid or start to liquify at storage temperatures of about 70-76 degrees or higher. Below 70-76 degrees it will become a semi-solid or completely solid. Especially During Cold Winter weather, which may cause the oil in the pack to appear cracked and/or blocky, if not frozen. Also, when in a semi-solid temperature state, it may appear as floating pieces amongst the liquifying oil.
ALL ABOVE CASES ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL and Fine for Consumption
: And the Oil Freshness remains perfectly fine in any state. Even after 1 + years, the oil will generally be fine. It is the popcorn that generally will start to lose the ability to pop after 1 year, as the kernels will eventually lose their natural water content over time due to different humidities. And Popcorn cannot pop without enough moisture remaining in the kernel. So as a rule for the freshest and best tasting product, we advise buying a new supply after 1 Year of purchase date.
